Pass out the Spot the Difference coloring page and crayons. Before they color, help children find the four differences between the first scene and the second. They are scared vs. happy expressions on the disciple’s faces, Jesus being asleep vs. calming the storm, stormy vs. cloudy skies, and big waves vs. small waves in the water. Have kids color the picture. Say, “Today we learned about Jesus calming the storm. The top picture is what happened first, and the second picture is what happened last. Let’s see if we can find everything that is different between the two pictures.”
