Green – Joseph's Jealous Brothers
Scripture: Genesis 37:3-4, 17-35, Joseph Sold Into Slavery
Jacob loved Joseph more than Joseph's brothers and gave Joseph a beautiful colorful coat. His brothers were green with envy and they did something unthinkable to Joseph. They threw him into a pit and then sold him into slavery. Through every difficult moment, Joseph trusted in God.
Objective: Preschoolers will say “I can trust God when bad things happen.”
Yellow – Joseph's Fearful Time
Scripture: Genesis 39:20-40:23, Joseph in Prison
In Egypt, Joseph ended up in jail, even though he hadn’t done anything wrong. While in that scary place, Joseph trusted in God to see him through, and was able to help other people there. No matter what scary thing you are facing, you can trust God and keep helping others.
Objective: Preschoolers will say “I can trust God when I’m scared.”
Purple – Joseph's Royal Position
Scripture: Genesis 41:1-43, Joseph Interprets the King's Dream
The Pharaoh had a disturbing dream and when Joseph was the only one who could interpret it, the Pharaoh rewarded him greatly. In one day, Joseph went from a prisoner to the second in command of Egypt! No matter how big the changes that come our way, we can trust God.

Blue – Joseph's Peaceful Reunion
Scripture: Genesis 45:1-15, Joseph Reveals Himself to His Brothers
When Joseph reunited with his brothers, there was not fear or anger there. Only happiness. Joseph knew that everything he had gone through, God had used to do great things.
Objective: Preschoolers will say “I can trust that God always has a plan for me.”
