    • Memory Verse - so that you can make sure kids are getting Scripture in their minds and hearts every single week and you can feel like each lesson was a success even when it seems like 90% of your lesson time is spent saying things like "calm down", "let's be quiet", "hands to yourself!
    • Skit or Puppet Show - so you have a way to easily connect the lesson with your hands-on and visual learners. No drama team? No problem! Just hand the script to the kids. They'll have a blast and think you're the coolest.

    Weird: The Strangest Stories in

"Weird: The Strangest Stories in the Bible is a great resource that my children's group has really enjoyed! They look forward to guessing what unusual characters or animals are going to be in the next story. Their curiosity for the "strange" has heightened their interest in what else the Bible holds. This study has not been not only a path to encourage the children to stay engaged, but has been a path in a growing interest to read their Bibles and learn more about God's love."

    Weird

"I was looking for a curriculum for my pre-teen class and came across the Weird 8 week series. It is an outstanding way to show kids that not only are there times of awkwardness in their lives but in the lives of those in the Bible. It helps them to realize that circumstances may be weird, but they are just how God intended them to be."

    Weird Curriculum~

"I do the big group part of the evening. In that time we do worship, the skit, and I usually take the object lesson part out of the lesson and do that part as well. The skits are interesting and well-written, although we do add some other things into them to make them "us." And I really like the object lessons. Last week I held a glass of water upside down and the kids thought it was really cool and it definitely got the point across. As the person who purchases the curriculum for the church, I appreciate that it's not too expensive. I've asked some of the teachers about their classrooms and how they think the lessons go. We like the choices in Bible stories, and it provides games and review questions. Overall, we really enjoy it, and I'll be sure to check out more from Children's Ministry Deals."
