The Secret King

Scripture: 1 Samuel 16:1-13, Samuel Anoints David

God did not want Saul to be king anymore. He sent Samuel to anoint David. In that moment, David probably didn’t know the big things God had planned for his life, but he knew he could trust God. You can trust God too, because he loves you and wants the best for you.

Objective: Preschoolers will learn that “God loves me and I can trust him.”

    "This lesson plan is a good resource for an extra lesson or for groups that don't have a set curriculum. There are several components (story, bible verse, craft, activities, etc) to make it a well rounded lesson. Many churches use ESV, so adding that translation to the bible verse memorization part would be helpful. A coloring page option would be nice too."
