The story of Ruth is a great example of caring for others. Ruth shows her love for Naomi by caring for her. Boaz shows his love for Ruth by committing to care for both her and Naomi. Because they loved God, they wanted to take care of each other. Just like the people we meet in the story of Ruth, we can also show God's love by taking care of other people. In Ruth 4-Week Preschool Ministry Curriculum, kids will learn that “because God takes care of us; we can care for others.”

Ruth and Naomi

When Naomi's husband and sons were gone, she felt all alone. But Ruth stayed by Naomi's side, and took care of her, showing God's love. We show God's love too when we show kindness to our families.

Objective: Little ones will learn, “I’m obeying God when I show love to my family.”
