Moses had a very rough start in life. He was born at a time when the Pharaoh ordered all baby boys would not be allowed to live. But Moses' mother Jochebed showed super courage and super love when she risked her life by disobeying Pharaoh to keep Moses safe.

        "As Children’s Director, I try to give my moms the day off especially if I know their own children and/or grandchildren won’t be in the service. Of course, we all know about the Best Laid Plans... I got a call Saturday night at 9:30 from my PreK teacher who had been battling a stomach bug all week but was hopeful she would be well by Sunday. Nope! I was too late to get a sub, so I took on the challenge. I LOVE the way you lay out the lesson but include a One Page Lesson at a Glance. That helped me stay on track (and keep my sanity!) while I taught a roomful of Littles how important their moms are. I wish all Curriculum Writers would provide that, even for the older kids."
