Hey Dad Father's Day Lesson

It is important to respect, love, and obey your father.

Many of us know the story of Solomon asking God for wisdom. But we may miss how Solomon used the opportunity to show honor and love to the former king, Solomon's father, David. Sometimes, we fail to show our parents the respect and honor that God desires us to give them. Solomon gives us an example of the proper way to treat our parents. “H.E.Y. Dad” reminds us to Honor (show respect), Embrace (display love), and Yield (practice obedience) to our fathers.
