Fourth of July Children's Church Lesson - Freedom

Independence Day is where we celebrate the freedom that we have in this country. True spiritual freedom – which comes only from God – can be experienced wherever we are: in another country, in prison, or in our homes. Through the story of Paul and Silas in prison, found in Acts chapter sixteen, kids will see what freedom looks like, and why Jesus is the only one who can provide it. This Fourth of July Children's Church Lesson is an awesome resource to use in your Children' Ministry, Sunday School, or Kids Church.

When you don't know who all will be there...

"We are in the middle of a summer lesson series on Wednesday nights. Then comes along the 4th of July and we're not sure who all will be in town or gone. Thanks to a single lesson like this, we can still have a great lesson, but no one will miss out on what's next because they get to pop fire crackers with Grandpa. Thanks Children's Ministry Deals!"

    Freedom in Jesus

"This lesson not only addresses the freedom we received when our forefathers came to America but freedom in Jesus. Children learn about how America gained it's freedom from England and why. However, it stops there, there is no focus on how they gain freedom when they accept Jesus as their Savior. This lesson brings the it together, opening the door to extend the invitation to receive Jesus as their Savior, why we should not take this freedom for granted and the importance of what freedom truly means."
