"We bought this to start on Valentine's Day with our kids. This is such a fun theme! Very easy to do! The snacks are all easy to make. Just make sure you are aware of peanut allergies!"
We are fun with the
"We are fun with the cooking ideas. We love how the cooking ideas go with the Bible Story."
The was the BEST!!!
"I had my class vote on which curriculum we would start and Cooking with Jesus got overwhelming votes from both elementary boys and girls. I bought them chef hats and they truly LOVE each lesson. They are SUPER sad that the curriculum is over and are begging for more. Not sure which curriculum to select next that has just as much impact."
Cooking it Up
"We use this curriculum with a wide range of ages. They really enjoy the snacks. The children don't get to do a whole lot of the "cooking" but that is sometimes a good thing when working with our wide age range."
Engaging and Fun!
"The Cooking With Jesus curriculum is engaging and exciting for elementary aged kids! What kid doesn’t enjoy learning to cook and taste the results? Each lesson ties in scripture very well and kids are able to easily make connections to the Word. Such a fun 8 weeks!"
Adaptable and Easy to use!
"We love the curriculum! Simple to use and adaptable for younger ages as well."
"Cooking with Jesus" really cooks!
"This series is lots of fun, with hands-on food activities each week. It really helps make connections! It also provides the snack for Kids Church, which is a plus! Parents ask "what is this for?" or "what did you learn today?" Kiddos have a visual, tasty tool for remembering the lesson."
A little to simple….
"I will be using the curriculum in January but have reviewed it already. I love the idea of the lessons, but I was a little disappointed with the recipes. I am an avid cook and love to cook with children. I will be using the basics of the lessons but putting in some more complex recipes. I don’t mean to be critical, I understand that not everyone would be looking to do more complex recipes. Thanks for all the hard work that goes into planning these lessons."
Q&A
- I have used your picture and lesson ideas in my kids' church. Someone has asked to purchase a book I made using your ideas. I did not plagiarise. I changed things up to suit my situation. Would this be a problem?
