We Love You, Dad! 

We might expect our parents to be these perfect people, but each one of us makes mistakes! We can show our dad’s love even if they aren’t perfect because God loves us even though we aren’t perfect.

Scripture: Genesis 37:1-11, Joseph's Coat and Joseph's Dreams

No dad (and no person) is perfect except for God. Jacob had 12 sons, but he gave more time and attention to Joseph than the others. This caused great jealousy and strife among Joseph and his brothers. His father wasn't perfect, but Joseph still respected and loved him.

Objective: Kids will learn that “I can show love to my dad because God loves me.”
