Learning from the Parables
Jesus used many stories to tell the people about Him and about God's kingdom. If we listen carefully to the stories of Jesus, we can learn how to be more like Jesus. By the end of these lessons, little ones will learn that they can be more like Jesus.

The Story of the Lost Sheep
Scripture: Luke 15:1-7, Parable of the Lost Sheep
This story shows us that we are important to Jesus. Preschoolers will learn that they can trust Jesus no matter what, because He loves them, like a good shepherd loves his sheep.
Objective: Kids will learn that “I am important to Jesus.”
The Story of the Tiniest Seed
Scripture: Mark 4:30-32, Parable of the Mustard Seed
Jesus said amazing things and did wonderful things because He trusted God. To be like Jesus, we can have faith in God. No matter how small we are, Jesus can help us do big things.
Objective: Kids will learn that “I can do big things when I trust Jesus.”
The Story of the Unforgiving Servant
Scripture: Matthew 18:21-35, The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant
Jesus has the power to forgive our sins. To be like Jesus, we can forgive other people who have treated us unkindly.
Objective: Kids will learn that “I can forgive like Jesus.”
The Story of the Kind Neighbor
Scripture: Luke 10:25-37, The Parable of the Good Samaritan
There's no one like Jesus. He loves us like no one else. To be like Jesus, we can show love to others and help people who need it.
Objective: Kids will learn that “I can love like Jesus.”
