When Jesus gathered his disciples for a final meal, they figured this would be a good opportunity to compete for important positions in Jesus’ new kingdom. They argued with each other about who would be the greatest. The disciples misunderstood what was happening. They thought Jesus brought them together to tell them how to rule in power. But He really brought them together to show them how they would serve in humility.
