No Bunny, No Body, No Problem Easter Children's Ministry Lesson

Jesus is no longer in the tomb!

When we read the story of the first Easter, we can see pretty quickly that there are several things that were not present. First, while they are a fun and cute way to celebrate today, we don't find any mention of bunnies or plastic eggs at the first Easter*. Second, there was no body. And because there was no body, that meant Jesus had defeated sin and death. Which means that at that first Easter there was no condemnation. Jesus' sacrifice paid the price for our sin so that anyone who puts their faith in Him can be forgiven for all of eternity.
