There was some real stress around the events of the first Christmas for all those involved. But Jesus willingly chose to come into this troubled world, so that through Him, this troubled world might be saved. 

This super-simple Christmas production can be performed with minimal speaking parts and a kids chorus. Sets can be simple or elaborate, based on what you have available. Same goes for the costumes.

This play was written for kids and adults to enjoy together as a family and can be presented separate from your regular children’s services. That being said, feel free to trim it down and use wherever and however best suits your needs.

"We did Not So Silent Night for our church Christmas celebration this year (2025). It was SO fun and was a hit. There are three main parts (Evie, Mary, and Joe) that take some work for lines, and several medium/smaller parts that allow lots of kids to have lines and be involved! We also really enjoyed the songs! Our kids loved it, and I believe the audience was challenged to trust Jesus no matter what we are walking through.
