Stronger – David went out to face Goliath, who was bigger, well-armed, and trained to fight. But David knew that the God who fought for him was stronger than the giant.     Summer Olympics Review

    "As a children's church director, I found this 3-week series to be user-friendly, relevant, and Biblically-based. Even people who don't typically watch sporting events tend to tune in to at least some of the Olympic games. The parallel between the Olympic motto -- faster, higher, stronger -- and the attributes of God as shown in the stories of Elijah vs the prophets of Baal, Joseph interpreting Pharoah's dream, and the story of David and Goliath, were effective. Woven throughout was the concept that competitors in the games do it to get a crown/medal that won't last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. I downloaded and printed out the additional activities (games, word searches, coloring pages) and also ordered some inexpensive gold medals from Oriental Trading Co that had a cross on one side and "With God We Will Gain The Victory" on the other. We also decorated with an inexpensive international flags tablecloth, banner, etc from Party City and I made a poster of photos from the various Olympic events. Overall, this was an effective yet fun summer series."

    Is this 3 Sunday lessons? Something you do once a week for 3 weeks? Or is it daily? Just trying to get an idea of how it’s laid out and how many days of content there is.
    Hi, yes all our curriculum is set up to be used once per week. So a 3-Week series will have 3 lessons, a 4-Week series 4 lessons, 12-Week series 12 lessons etc. I hope that helps :-)
