Set Free Juneteenth Children's Ministry Lesson

Because Of Jesus, We Are Free Indeed! 

Juneteenth, which is also known as “Freedom Day” celebrates the end of slavery in America.  Freedom had actually been declared almost two and half years earlier, but it took until June 19th, 1865 for the last city in America to finally hear the news. When Jesus died on the cross and walked out of that tomb three days later, he declared freedom from slavery to sin for all who would put their faith in Him.  If you’ve put your faith in Jesus, you are free! But there are many people who have not yet experienced that freedom that has already been declared.
