Objective: Kids will think of a specific way they can serve someone to show God’s love.

Scripture: John 13:1-17, Jesus washes the disciples' feet

Right before Jesus spoke the words that are in our memory verse, he lived those words out by washing the disciples' feet.  Jesus was showing us that if we are going to truly love others as he loved others, we must be willing to serve.  We must be willing to be last and let others go first.  We must be willing to do the difficult things so that others don’t have too.  We must be willing to think of other people before we think of ourselves.

    "I liked most of it! I thought page 8 in the large group lesson was a little too adult for my kids. What King Solomon says about love is probably not what my kids should be reading right now. (: ...and the rest was a little outside of their interests. Maybe put a reminder on the game that some kids have dye allergies. Always grateful for the freebies!"
