Jesus Is Our Strength In Chaos - Day 1 VBS Lesson

Key Verse: "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." Matthew 7:24

Scripture: The Wise & Foolish Builders, Matthew 7:24-27

In this parable, Jesus describes how the firm foundation of His teaching gives us the strength to stand firm in the chaotic storms of life.

Main Idea: Jesus is our Strength in the midst of chaos.

    "I really enjoyed previewing and purchasing this VBS program. The sample download not only included a lesson sample, it also included a Director's Guide overview of the week's program which I think is essential when making a VBS purchasing decision. I liked that the skits set up the day's Bible story. I also liked that there was a media purchase option, which I did. The day's lessons are simple and follow a rotation schedule similar to what we use for our 4-day program. It also has many editable text files, which are an essential tool for me. What might have been helpful was suggesting links to short Bible story videos (2-5 min. ) helping to reinforce the day's Bible story as we live in such a video-driven kids' world. I can't wait to do our June camp-themed VBS. Our tagline is. . . "Finding Peace in a Chaotic World," something we all desire these days. Thank you CMD!"
