    "I chose this lesson because I am a Kids Ministry Director in our small church and I also teach elementary Sunday School. The kids in this age group range from 5 - 11. Society is teaching this age group that if they speak back ( expressing their opinion) and are vocal about what they want or don't want, that this is the way to go. Only thing is that the lesson of what words we are using and our attitude and tone make the difference. this lesson teaches the truth that an untamed tongue the hurt can hurt others' feelings. This part of the body should be used to praise God and to lift others up. Sometimes kids just say what is on their minds - we need to teach them how God wants us to use our words and tame the tongue. It starts with a great attitude/God's love in our hearts"
