Sometimes things don't go the way we expect. Sometimes things can get downright messy! But God can use even the messiest, grossest moments. Often when things are messiest is when we can see God work most clearly to redeem and restore us. In EWWW 8-Week Children's Ministry Curriculum, kids will see how God can use messy situations to help us trust Him more.

Drinking Gold
Scripture: Exodus 32:1-20, Moses Makes the People Drink Gold
When the children of Israel rebelled and worshipped a golden calf, Moses ground the calf to dust and made the people drink their new "god." God wants us to worship Him only. He wants us to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Kids will learn that trusting anything or anyone but God will leave them with a bad taste in their mouth.
Objective: Kids will acknowledge that nothing is more important than God.
