When you’re a kid, one of the best and easiest ways to shine your light for Jesus is to be a good friend. The friendships in the Bible display friendships that protect, mentor and are honest with each other. Most importantly, we can learn what a friendship with Jesus is all about.

Scripture: 1 Samuel 18:1-5 & 1 Samuel 20:18-23
Even though Jonathan should have been jealous of David, David and Jonathan were best friends. When Saul was after David, Jonathan acted as a true friend and protected David by coming up with a plan!
Objective: Kids will say, “Friends protect each other.”
