When God became displeased with King Saul, he sent the prophet Samuel to anoint a new king from the house of Jesse. Samuel was expecting to anoint the oldest, biggest, and most notable brothers. BUT what stood out to God was the heart and faith of Jesse’s youngest son, David. 
Objective: Kids will learn “God has a plan and a purpose for my life.”
