Perfect Curriculum
"It worked out great for our Children’s Ministry. We usually cater to ages 5-12 and it was a very exciting experience for our kids. The best thing you can do is make it yours. Every lesson we had a volunteer dressed as the Hero of the week cape and mask included."

"I think the timing of the release of this curriculum being right in step with the release of The Incredibles 2 is on point. I think the actual content is great. The stories do tie in well with what each week’s bottom line is. Some curriculum writers stretch pretty far to try to make stories match up with what the “theme” is, but I feel like the correlations in this series are Biblically sound. I wish that there were method suggestions included for telling the actual Bible stories other than to just read it aloud. I find that kids often get lost and glaze over a little bit when just being read to. I am spending a good deal of time working on how to tell the stories rather than being able to rely on the curriculum for that guidance. I have about 12 years experience, so I have a good arsenal of methods I’ve used before, but this is probably my biggest issue with the curriculum because I think for people who just want to print out what is provided and use it exactly “as is,” this is a hindrance. I first was glad to see that there are 2 different small group outlines based on age, but in all actuality, most weeks, they are exactly the same. That was confusing to me, and I think there should either only be one file, OR they should actually be different, with more age specific activities. I also wish that there were more small group activities provided. I ended up adding on one of my own each week to make sure there was enough to fill the time and feel like the groups had done something for the kids to really give some thought to life application. HOWEVER, I do like the activities that ARE provided. I feel like the curriculum is geared heavily toward the younger ages in our children’s church, 1st-3rd graders. Again, I have enough experience to edit, but I think this may hinder some. I like that all of the elements of large group time are separate and not written into 1 large script. The flexibility it gives to order the service how it works best for us and to even mix it up along the way is awesome. I especially like the object lesson being a separate portion rather than being incorporated into the large group lesson. This gave me the ability to use it as a sort of “teaser” to the lesson before the large group game, and then tie it back in with the Bible story and application time, which is more my style when writing my own lessons. Those things in addition to the short length of the large group lessons allows for changing elements often enough to hold the attention of the kids. Some other curriculums have really LONG large group lessons that aren’t broken up well, and I think it’s easy for kids to get lost in that. I have a short enough attention span from being in children’s ministry for so long that if I am getting bored, I KNOW they are. Well done on keeping each element short but effective. Lastly, being able to buy a series at a time, whichever one I want, and not be locked into a year commitment with only 1 theme option a month is something I think is great. If there is a series I don’t think would be good, I don’t HAVE to use it or lose the money I spent for that month by using something else. Picking and choosing as I like is a benefit to how CMD does things. All in all, I think we had an “incredible” summer."

Q&A
- Can I choose which KJV has the verses on The Bible Ninja Curriculum and the Incredible Faith Curriculum? Where do I do that?
- Hi, I'm sorry unfortunately these series do not include KJV references (although you could always just use the KJV when reading the Bible passages). All of our series that come with KJV material are listed here https://www.childrens-ministry-deals.com/collections/kjv-sunday-school-lessons
